Police Officer

We have an opening for a full time Police officer, for the

City Clerk

City of Humansville is accepting applications for a City Clerk. The City  Clerk is selected by the Board of Alderman and works closely with the Mayor and Board of Alderman. The City Clerk oversees the City’s vital records, serves as secretary to the Mayor and Board of Alderman, Maintains the computer accounting system and enters in all city money transactions, receipts and disbursements. The position reconciles all fund accounts in the checking account, processes payroll, accounts payables and related tax reports. The Clerk prepares and submits various government reports, reconciles and prepares audit reports and communicates with the auditor. 

 

The City Clerk will be expected to prepare public meeting notices, meeting minutes, agenda’s, requests and attend monthly evening meetings of the Mayor and Board of Alderman.. 

 

Successful Candidate should possess a strong customer service attitude, organizational and communication skills. 

 

Other Postition Requirements and desired qualifications include:

      High School Diploma or GED

     At least one year working as City Hall/Administrative Office is desired

 

Successful Candidates will additionally possess:

     The ability to interact effectively with elected officials, community members, local leaders and City Staff. 

     The skill to maintain calm, fair, and impartial demeanor in all matters. 

     The ability to Multi-task

The salary to be determined with expenrience and does include a benefit package and paid holidays.

Assistant City Superintendent

The City Humansville has a full-time opening for assistant City Superintendent. This position requires a High School Diploma. Must be available to respond 24/7 in emergencies and the ability to work in extreme weather conditions. Salary based on qualifications and experience.
